I teach 8 types of classes or workshops. Each time I learn a new style it helps me teach and understand the others in a new and fresh way. I learned Kundalini Yoga first. Later I learned Bikram, Pure Power, Hot pilates, and Vinyasa. I have a personal development workshop called Unleash Your Purpose that I developed based on the process I follow building businesses and to get clarity on what is meaningful.
Unleash Your Purpose
In this 90 minute workshop we follow a step by step process to transform ideas into reality. After discovering your passions and skills, you will craft a purpose driven mission statement which will act as a guide for your life. Empowered by purpose you will then take time to realistically look at the effort required to manifest dreams and bring life to your ideas. I have used this process to build yoga studios, start festivals and a hotel. It has been so rewarding to share the process with others to bring positive change in their lives. I am excited to share the process with you! Bring a notebook and something to write with.
After opening Casa Om I remember walking on the beach and thinking I would like a new challenge. I started reflecting on my yoga practice and wanted to systematically change my body. This workshop ties in most of what I learned from handstands to hollowback, crows,kundinyasana, vishvamitrasana, scorpions and lots of core work to support it.

See your postures from a new perspective!During this workshop we will take pictures of your postures in a classic 90-minute class. Afterwards we’ll review the pictures and give you direct feedback on how to improve your form and depth. I give you the photos afterwards so you have them to track your physical progress.
Bikram Hot Yoga , therapuetic yoga system that I practice to maintain flexibility, sweat, and overall healing.Class is conducted in a purpose built heated studio that helps the student to warm up their muscles, prevent injury, promoting a deeper workout and further helps to cleanse the body by flushing out unwanted toxins.This 90 minute class has been designed to deliver total health by balancing and strengthening every system in the body, helping to prevent illness and injury, promote weight loss and limit the effects of aging. The series and sequence of postures methodically stretches muscles and ligaments and prepares the joints needed for the next posture.
Kundalini Yoga and Meditation
I first studied kundalini yoga at Yogi Bhajan’s Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar India. While influenced by many excellent teachers, my teaching style has been most influenced by Sat Nam Rasayan teacher, Guru Dev from Mexico. My approach to the spirit of yoga practice and its healing potential was inspired by my studies with him.

Hot Pilates is an extremely challenging full-body workout using Pilates principles. There is no impact, so it is safe practice for all fitness levels of students.Hot Pilates combines cardio and muscle toning in a heated room. The high intensity interval training keeps your heart rate up, helping you burn fat. The Pilates principles sculpt you body, creating long lean muscle mass. The heat loosens up the muscles quickly, and the humidity makes you sweat — elevating your heart rate, boosting metabolism, and promoting detoxification.With Hot Pilates, you will tap into that core strength.
Yoga Sculpt (Pure Power)
Pure Power, a dynamic vinyasa class that combines balance, strength training, core strengthening, inversions and flexibility. It will also weave in meditation and pranayama. It will be a 60 minute class with the incorporation of music. This class will develop lean mass, burn calories and create overall health and well being. Yoga Sculpt (Pure Power) is a perfect compliment and balance to any other yoga practice. I trained with Shoshana Treichel who is one of the world’s strongest women. Not only has she achieved world records in the bench press, but has become one of the world’s most talented figures in Women’s Bodybuilding.
